A stare-out develops between Mr. Garwe and Tad, since Garwe won’t admit his paternalhood, even though he’s still a bit confused about the whole situation.

He loses obviously (everybody knows that younger people are far better at stare-outs) and seems a bit worn out by the ordeal.
